Ons Jabeur v Marketa Vondrousova Head to Head
It’s 1-1 from their previous two meetings. Vondrousova won in Prague in 2015, while Jabeur won at a WTA 25k event in Sunrise in 2016.

Jabeur Wins Her Maiden Title in Birmingham
Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur will be high on confidence as she heads to Eastbourne after winning her maiden WTA title in Birmingham on Sunday.
Jabeur became the first Arab woman to win a WTA title as she defeated Russia’s Daria Kasatkina 7-5, 6-4 in the final and avenged her Kremlin Cup final defeat to Kasatkina in 2018.
It was the Tunisian’s second final of the season, after she reached the title clash at the WTA 250 in Charleston in April. However, a defeat to Astra Sharma in Charleston meant she was 0-2 in career finals. She finally captured her first title in her third attempt on Sunday, breaking Kasatkina’s serve five times from 10 breaking opportunities and saving four of seven break points that she faced.
The World No. 24’s 5-0 start on grass improved her to 28-10 this year. She reached the fourth round at Roland Garros for the second consecutive year and was also a semifinalist at the Volvo Car Open in Charleston.
Jabeur doesn’t have a great record at Wimbledon, having reached the second round just once in three attempts, but made it to the semifinals in Eastbourne in 2019. She defeated Johanna Konta in the Round of 16 and Alize Cornet in the quarterfinals but had to withdraw from the semifinal before her semifinal clash with Angelique Kerber.

Vondrousova’s Dismal Grass Form Continues
On Tuesday, Jabeur will meet Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova, who didn’t have a great start to the grass season, going down in the first round in Berlin to eventual champion Ludmilla Samsonova.
The 21-year-old left-hander is 13-10 this year, reaching the semifinals of the Yarra Valley Classic, and the fourth rounds of the Australian, Miami and French Opens.
Ranked 40th in the world, the 2019 French Open runner-up has a woeful 1-8 career record on grass, with her only win coming over Saisai Zheng in the first round at Eastbourne in 2019.
Vondrousova’s three main draw appearances at Wimbledon in 2017, ’18 and ’19 have all ended in first-round defeats.
Ons Jabeur v Marketa Vondrousova Prediction and Tip
Jabeur will be high on confidence after her title success. She is a better player on grass and will be expected to score a straightforward win over Vondrousova.
