Roberto Bautista Agut v Sam Querrey Head to Head
The overall head to head between these two players reads 3-1 in favour of Bautista Agut. Querrey, however, did win their last match which came at the 2019 China Open.
They have also played on grass once, a match that came at the 2019 Queen’s Club competition and Bautista Agut had clinched that in three fighting sets.

Bautista Agut Overcomes Korda Defeat
In his only previous match on grass this season, Bautista Agut had been dumped out of the Halle Open opener by Sebastian Korda in straight sets.
Which is why Bautista Agut would be very pleased with his second round effort here. Following a first round bye, the Spaniard overcame Stefano Travaglia 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the quarterfinal with the match lasting an hour and 27 minutes.
The first set went neck in neck till the seventh game but in the eighth, Bautista Agut registered a break of serve before serving out in the next game. And while Travaglia held on to his serve five times in a row in the second set, when the pressure tap was opened, it was Bautista Agut who got the break and finished off the match.
Can the Bautista Agut now get himself another win or even give close to his 100% given how close this match is to the start of Wimbledon?

Querrey Benefits from Humbert Withdrawal
It had been a long time on court for Ugo Humbert, something which we had mentioned in our preview to his match against Querrey. And while the issue wasn’t quite to do with exhaustion, Humbert, winner of a title last year, withdrew from that encounter to give his American opponent a free ride to the quarterfinal.
Querrey wouldn’t mind that too much.
Having already made it to the semifinal in Stuttgart, the American would love to shrug off the start that he made earlier this season with just two wins from the first eight matches he had played this year.
This included a five match losing streak that ended with a win at Stuttgart.
And while Querrey then lost in the first round at Halle, he squeaked past Roberto Carballes Baena in the opener here to set up that meeting with Humbert.
Can he now move further in the tournament, making it his second semifinal of the season?
Bautista Agut v Querrey Prediction and Tip
Under normal circumstances we would have expected this to be a three-setter going Bautista Agut’s way but given it’s so close to the start of Wimbledon it does make it difficult to predict. Will the players be at their 100%? Hard to tell and which is why we are going with Querrey with a shock win here.
Tip: Querrey to win: 9/4 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
