Belinda Bencic v Kaja Juvan Head to Head
Bencic and Juvan have never faced off before this in a competitive encounter.

Bencic Solid on Grass This Year
She might have lost in the second round of Eastbourne Open last week but Bencic had made a solid start to her season on grass earlier.
The Swiss number one made it to her second WTA tournament final, in what was her first appearance on grass since 2019. Playing in Berlin, Bencic registered wins over Alize Cornet, Petra Martic and Ekaterina Alexandrova to storm into the title-decider where she lost to Ludmilla Samsonova.
Bencic does have a solid record on grass though, having won her first ever title on the WTA circuit on this surface. It had come in 2015 in Eastbourne, and in all, Bencic has made it to four tournament finals on grass.
What Bencic will hope for coming into this tournament is bit of consistency that would help her emulate her best showing at Wimbledon – she has reached the fourth round on two occasions here.
A decent start here will go a long way in helping her achieve that landmark for starters.

Juvan Losing Streak Refusing to Relent
It’s a losing streak that has already lasted five matches and goes back as far as mid-March for Juvan. Since qualifying for Monterrey Open and then entering the second round there, Juvan opted to withdraw from that match because of an illness.
When she returned to tennis about a month or so later, Juvan kick-started a string of defeats that have seen her go from Madrid to Belgrade to Paris with a stopover on the ITF circuit but face defeats on clay.
And if she thought that playing on grass would make too much of a difference to that losing streak, Juvan was in for a mistake. The 20-year-old Slovenian player failed to make it past the first qualifying round at Berlin, going down to Asia Muhammad in that encounter.
Now up against the world number 11, it looks highly unlikely she would find a way to overcome her on-court woes.
Bencic v Juvan Prediction and Tip
Bencic would be deeply disappointed if she didn’t come away with a straightforward win in this one. A straight-set win for Bencic is at 4/9 while she is 5/4 to win it and under 18.5 games in the match.
Tip: Bencic to win in straight sets: 4/9 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
