Alexander Zverev v Taylor Fritz Head to Head
There have been three previous matches between these two players with Zverev winning two of them including one at the 2018 Wimbledon where Fritz took him to a fifth set.

Zverev Moving Quickly Through the Draw
Even as some of the other top players have already dropped a set or even lost early – like Stefanos Tsitsipas – Zverev has quietly moved through to the third round with back to back straight set wins.
Having fallen in the second round at Halle in his only previous tournament on grass this season, Zverev opened the tournament with a crushing 6-3, 6-4, 6-1 win before knocking out Tennys Sandgren in the second round in straight sets.
Zverev defeated Sandgren 7-5, 6-2, 6-3 in an hour and 47 minutes, breaking his opponent five times in the entire match. In return, Zverev faced just one break-point in the entire match and easily saved that.
Aided by 36 winners and just 18 unforced errors, the one figure worth a watch, especially from Zverev’s perspective is his first serve percentage. For someone who has had serving issues, Zverev ended the match getting 72% of the serves in and winning more than 80% of the points.
As far as confidence goes, Zverev will have loads of it coming into his third round encounter.

Fritz Scratchy But Comes Away in Five
After having been stretched to four sets in his opening round match by American Brandom Nakashima, it was the turn of another countryman to push Fritz to the distance. This time around, however, Fritz needed five sets and nearly four hours to go past Steve Johnson in the second round.
The world number 40 came away a 6-4, 7-6, 4-6, 6-7, 6-4 win in three hours and 50 minutes to reach the third round at Wimbledon for the first time in his career.
Fritz looked to have made the kind of start that was needed when he broke Johnson a couple of times in the first set and while he missed out on five break-point chances in the second, he took it in a tie-breaker to take a two sets to love lead.
Johnson retaliated in an identical manner, breaking Fritz twice in the third set and then winning the fourth set tie-breaker to level proceedings. In the decider, a slew of break-points came and went for both players but it was in the ninth game that Fritz managed to get two more and converted off the latter.
An easy service game ensured a five-set win and a spot in the third round against a top-10 player.
Zverev v Fritz Prediction and Tip
Form dictates Zverev be backed to the fullest here but it doesn’t take long for him to lost control of his serve and with the Fritz serve not the easiest to break either we could see some kind of a fight.
Tip: Zverev to win AND Both players to win a set: 13/8 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
