Shelby Rogers v Katerina Siniakova Head to Head
Rogers has a losing 2-0 record in the head-to-head. None of Siniakova’s wins came after the 2017 season though.

Rogers Beaten In Cincinnati By Bencic
Despite a second-round exit at the hands of Belinda Bencic at the WTA Western & Southern Open, Shelby Rogers achieved her own personal milestone off the court.
Rogers along with fellow pros; Magda Linette and Nicole Melichar, earned their Bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University East on the eve of the tournament through the educational partnership with the WTA.
Rogers has a posted a 20-18 record for the season including qualifying matches. However, she has been poor in recent weeks and only managed to her first win in over a month following Danielle Collins’ retirement in their first-round match at Cincinnati.
Considering that Rogers is defending quarterfinal points from last year’s US Open, she needs a deep run this week that should give her impetus and confidence of replicating her form this time around. But how will she fare against one of the WTA’s most dangerous floaters?

Siniakova In Fine Fettle
Katerina Siniakova sat out from singles competition in Cincinnati despite her recent run of good results. The curly-haired Czech has won 15 of her last 21 matches, which includes a run to the Bad Homburg final just before Wimbledon.
Her form on hard courts hasn’t been shoddy either. She made the quarterfinals on home soil at the Prague Open losing to her good friend and compatriot Barbora Krejcikova. But Siniakova would join forces with the reigning Roland Garros champion at the Tokyo Olympics as the pair of them won the gold medals in doubles.
Siniakova’s return to tour-level competition has seen author stunning wins in Montreal. She defeated both Jelena Ostapenko and Garbine Muguruza in a routine fashion. But surprisingly she fell to Sara Sorribes Tormo in three sets in the Round of 16.
The World No. 52 will enter this contest seeking her 20th match win in singles in 2021.
Rogers v Siniakova Prediction and Tip
Despite being a largely experienced doubles operator, Siniakova’s form in singles threatens to outpace her doubles results in recent weeks. This looks to be an evenly-matched contest between these two players, at least on paper. We are backing the games market.
Tip: Over 21.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
