Fiona Ferro v Aldila Sutjiadi Head to Head

World No. 80 Fiona Ferro’s win-loss tally stands at 13-15 for the season so far.
The 24-year-old last participated in the Cincinnati Masters where she was beaten in the final qualifying round by Caroline Garcia. The week before, she incurred a similar fate in the Canadian Open although, this time she lost in the second round to Petra Kvitova.
Except for a handful of tournaments in WTA Istanbul and Lausanne where Ferro was a quarterfinalist, she hasn’t quite managed to make it past the early rounds on the WTA Tour in the last few months.
In all fairness, Ferro was quite impressive at the start of the season when she was ranking in the mid-40s and looked determined to crack the top 30. She made it as far as the third round in the French Open and semifinal in the WTA Lyon before losing that momentum in the subsequent tournaments.

Sutjiadi, Starting as a Qualifier
Aldila Sutjiadi of Indonesia is playing in her first WTA250 event since the Jiangxi Open in 2019.
She started as a qualifier in Chicago and moved past the likes of Lyudmyla Kichenok and the number two seed Clara Burel to reach the main draw.
The 26-year-old has spent most of her season on the ITF circuit where her best run includes a quarterfinal appearance in Evansville. She had also made it to the second round in Charleston as a qualifier before succumbing to Olga Govortsova.
Sutjiadi, who is the current World No. 366, has had a much better time on the doubles circuit. She reached four doubles finals in ITF tournaments while also settling for the runner-up trophy in the WTA125 Charleston with Erin Routliffe.
Ferro v Sutjiadi Prediction and Tip
Ferro will start as the favourite but and barring any loss in form, she should do well to reach the next round in straight sets.
