Anna Kalinskaya v Danka Kovinic Head to Head
The pair have played each other once before, on clay in Istanbul in 2018, Kovinic winning in straight sets.

Kalinskaya’s First Senior Tour Appearance Since Budapest
Kalinskaya has never appeared in a senior WTA singles finals, but she has enjoyed better success in doubles – with regular partner Viktoria Kuzmova, they won the Prague open in 2019, and were runners-up in the Yarra Valley Classic in Australia at the start of the year.
And the Russian has also won seven ITF singles titles, the last of which was in France just over two years ago.
She has been spending her time over the past few months mainly on the junior tour, and last appeared in a senior WTA event in Budapest, where she was beaten in the first round.
An attempt to qualify for the US Open ended at the second round stage, and then she travelled to Portugal to take part in an ITF hard court event.
The Russian reached the quarter-finals but was then beaten by Yuriko Lily Muyazaki, the world number 302.

Kovinic Reached Charleston Final
Earlier this year Kovinic reached the final of the Charles Open, losing to Veronika Kudermetova of Russia in straight sets.
That was her first senior final in three years and her third in all, and she has lost all of them, also suffering defeat in Istanbul in 2018, and in Tianjin, China, three years earlier.
She has though won 12 titles on the ITF tour, the most recent of which came in Hungary in October 2019.
Her recent form though has been disappointing. Since reaching the second round of the French Open in June, she has lost very match she has played, although she did not take part in Wimbledon this year.
Her most recent loss was in the first round of the US Open. Where she was beaten by Kristyna Pliskova of the Czech Republic, the world number 115, in straight sets.
Kalinskaya v Kovinic Prediction and Tip
Kovinic has been in poor form recently, but she will start favourite against an opponent who she beat in their one previous meeting and spends most of her time on the ITF tour.
Tip: Kalinskaya to win: 2/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
