Kristina Mladenovic v Nika Radisic Head to Head
Mladenovic and Radisic have not played each other before this.

Mladenovic Beaten By Rakhimova
Kristina Mladenovic needed a change of plan and strategy after her first-round opponent Johanna Konta was forced to withdraw from the US Open due to a thigh injury.
The Frenchwoman didn’t have plenty of time to study Kamilla Rakhimova who was instilled as Konta’s replacement. Given that Mladenovic had never faced off against the 20-year-old Russian before, she was bound to experience a few jitters early on.
But surpringly Mladenovic was the dominant player in the first set which she bagged 6-2. But Rakhimova proved to be no slouch as she mounted a comeback to take the next two sets and would go on to produce another upset in the subsequnet round by eliminating compatriot Alexandrova.
For the 28-year-old Mladenovic, her unispiring campaign is showing no signs despite making the quarterfinals in Chicago just prior to New York.

Radisic Set For WTA Debut
Nika Radisic is 21, but hasn’t made an impact of any relevance on the senior tour. Her wild card entrant in Portoroz will give her a taste of tour-level tennis for the first time.
Being one of three Slovenian wild cards, Radisic will be keen to repay the tournament organizers with a big result on her debut appearance on Monday against a former top-10 player. She is currently ranked outisde the world’s top 500 and has featured predominantly on the ITF tour where she has won one singles title in her career.
Outside the ITF circuit, Radisic made her maiden appearance in Slovenia’s Fed Cup team in 2018 in doubles, and would wait for over a year to represent her country in singles. She played Iga Swiatek and only managed to win three games.
Mladenovic v Radisic Prediction and Tip
Mladenovic is a whopping 1/11 to win here, which clearly shows a disparity between these two players in terms of ranking and ability. This should be a stroll in the park for the world no. 58.
Tip: Mladenovic to win AND under 19.5 games: 6/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
