Katarina Zavatska v Katie Boulter Head to Head
There has been one previous meeting between these two players at St. Petersburg Open which came in the qualifiers of the 2019 edition. Boulter won that encounter in three sets.

Zavatska Not a Hard Court Specialist
21-year-old Zavatska has featured in clay court tournaments all throughout this season, having played in only three hard court competitions.
And in none of those three did Zavatska manage to win a main draw match, losing in the qualifiers at both the Australian and US Open and reaching round one in Dubai but falling easily to Jil Teichmann.
More recently, Zavatska took to court on the clay Karlsruhe where she reached the second round, following on from another second round appearance in Palermo.
She now faces an opponent who is ranked below her but has a better hard court record than her.

Boulter Hoping to Build on Qualifiers Form
Having featured in the US Open qualifiers before this and now in the qualifying rounds here at Slovenian Open, Boulter would be reasonably chuffed with what she has managed.
Ranked 171st in the world and hoping to climb back up the rankings to her personal best of 82nd, Boulter had earlier made it through to the main draw at US Open with three fighting wins.
And here in Slovenia, Boulter has already registered back to back straight-set victories over Manca Pislak and Irina Fetecau to reach the main draw. And now coming up against a player who has struggled on hard court surfaces, the Brit will give herself a good chance of eking out a victory.
Boulter has already won a round at Wimbledon earlier this year and was a quarterfinalist in Nottingham before that.
Zavatska v Boulter Prediction and Tip
Zavatska’s obvious struggles on hard court make Boulter a heavy favourite but can the Brit carve out a straight-set win? We would like to believe that’s how the match could go.
Tip: Boulter to win in straight sets: 8/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
