Matteo Berrettini v Felix Auger- Aliassime Head to Head
This will be their fourth meeting on the tour with Berrettini leading the head-to-head 2-1. They met twice this year and split wins with Berrettini winning at Wimbledon and Auger-Aliassime in Cincinnati.

It has been a strong season for the Italian breaking into the top eight in the rankings, looking sharp Down Under, making the quarter-finals at the French Open, the finals of the Madrid Masters 1000 and being runner-up at Wimbledon coming into the hard court season.
With a few niggles delaying his start at the US Open series, Berrettini only played in Cincinnati where he looked a little rusty but played himself into fitness and form gradually.
It was a quarter -final loss to Auger- Aliassime in Cincinnati that ended his build-up to the US Open, but he looked in good touch in New York again making the final eight before falling short against the world number one Novak Djokovic after winning grueling opening set.
Berrettini is making his Laver Cup debut and will be looking for a strong start and showing here heading into the indoor and hard court season that wraps up the season in the next eight weeks.

Auger- Aliassime Hoping To Capitalize On Strong Summer
After a confident run on the grass, where he made the finals at Stuttgart, final four at Halle and the Wimbledon quarter-finals, it was another good run for Felix Auger- Aliassime on the hard courts of North America.
Early losses in Washington DC and Toronto were followed by a fair run in Cincinnati including a win over Matteo Berrettini and coming into New York more confident for the last major of the year.
While it was not the most impressive start to the US Open for him being pushed in the early rounds, the young Canadian put up strong showings to defeat Roberto Bautista Agut, Frances Tiafoe and Carlos Alcaraz to make the final four losing to eventual champion Daniil Medvedev.
Auger-Aliassime will be hoping to continue the good run here heading into the season end tournaments over October and November.
