Ilya Ivashka v Pablo Andujar Head to Head
Ivashka and Andujar have been involved in just one career, head-to-head meeting till date. The pair met in the second round of the clay court event in Marrakech, Morocco in 2018. The Spaniard prevailed in straight sets.

Ivashka Coming off Astana Semifinal Appearance
After almost reaching the second week of the US Open, Ivashka came into the Astana Open will a good measure of belief in his system.
Keen to channel the confidence from his third-round finish at the Flushing Meadows into a strong title challenge in the Kazakhstan capital, the young Belarussian opened his campaign with a thumping straight-set win over Elias Ymer of Sweden.
The win saw him set up a last-16 outing against Skatov Timofey of Kazakhstan. The Belarussian coasted to another commanding win over the unheralded Kazakh to set up a quarter-finla showdown against Emil Ruusuvuori of Finland.
Recovering from a set down against Ruusuvuori, Ivashka recorded a fine come-from-behind win to reach the semifinal. However, the Belarussian couldn’t find his best tennis when it mattered, going down in the last-four tie to Australian James Duckworth.
While keen to use his disappointment in the Kazakhstan capital as a springboard to lifting his second career title at the Sofia Open, Ivashka faces a tricky opener against veteran Spaniard Pablo Andujar.
On current form, the Belarussian should fancy going past the Spaniard but would still be advised not to take things easy against him.

Andujar Fell to Rune in Last Challenger Event
Barring the shocking upset win over Roger Federer at the Geneva Open this year, Andujar has had too many reasons to celebrate this year.
Entering the draw for the Challenger event in Szczecin, Poland, the Spaniard reached the last 16 before being routed by rising Dane Holger Rune.
A veteran of many battles, Andujar would desperately hope to get on a winning streak at the Soafia Open, starting with his opening clash against Ivashka on Monday.
What will give him a measure of confidence going into the match is the fact he came out a winner in his only previous head-to-head meeting with Ivashka in 2018.
However, that shouldn’t be an excuse for the Spaniard to be complacent as Ivashka is coming off a semifinal finish at Astana and would go into this match high on belief.
Ivashka v Andujar Prediction and Tip
While Andujar won his his only previous head-to-head clash with Ivashka, current form doubtlessly tips the scales in the Belarussian’s favor.
Tip: Ivashka to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
