Jannik Sinner v Arthur Rinderknech Head to Head
There has been one previous meeting between these two players which was won by Rinderknech. It came on the clay courts of Lyon earlier this year and Sinner blew a set lead to go down in three.

Sinner Wards off Musetti Threat
It did not take Sinner a lot of time to get past his second round encounter against Lorenzo Musetti despite being threatened in the opening set.
An hour and 35 minutes is all that Sinner took to defeat Musetti, winning 7-5, 6-2 to reach the last eight stage.
Despite a first serve percentage of a mere 47% off the racquet of Sinner as compared to 73% for Musetti, he managed to win 80% of his first serve points and 75% of the second which ensured he was never broken in the entire encounter.
Sinner faced just one break point which he saved easily while breaking his opponent three times of the seven opportunities he got.
With a first round bye, the Sofia Open winner Sinner will now hope to get going following his shock early defeat at the Indian Wells Masters.

Rinderknech Needs Three against Lajovic
Going into his second round match against Dusan Lajovic as an overwhelming favourite, Rinderknech was stretched to three sets by the Serb but he finally came through to seal his first quarterfinal berth since July.
The Kitzbuhel Open semifinalist, Rinderknech was shocked in the second set but came through 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to make it to the last eight.
Having defeated Federico Delbonis in straight sets in the first round, Rinderknech won his second round match in nearly two hours, broken twice in the encounter while doing that four times on his opponent.
Rinderknech, who is on a career-high ranking of 65th in the world, can improve further if he can go the distance but an opponent like Sinner can be expected to test his mettle.
With an overall 24-10 record indoors this season, Rinderknech knows he will have a chance, despite being so far down the ranks as compared to his opponent.
Sinner v Rinderknech Prediction and Tip
