Sinner Eyes Fourth Title For Season
Italian Jannik Sinner was the winner of the 2019 ATP Next Gen Tour Finals in Milan and now remains in the reckoning for a spot at the year end ATP Tour Finals in Turin.
Sinner is currently 11th in the race with a close finish ahead between Casper Ruud, Hubert Hurkacz, Cameron Norrie, Felix Auger- Aliassime and a few others alongside the top seed here at Antwerp.
Winner of three titles this year in Melbourne, Washington DC and Sofia respectively, Sinner has a 41-18 overall record this season and was also the runner-up at the Miami Open earlier this year.
After a first round bye, the top seed here has looked in fluent touch this week defeating compatriot and fellow Next Gen Lorenzo Musetti and Frenchman Arthut Rinderknech in straight sets, setting himself up well for a title run this weekend.
Up against South African Lloyd Harris in the semi-final who has also had a breakthrough season, Sinner was clinical breaking twice in each set for a 6-2, 6-2 win and securing a berth in the finals with a fourth title of the year on the line and remaining in the reckoning for the ATP Tour Finals in Turin.

Good Run Indoors For Schwartzman
It has been a mixed season for Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman, with moments of brilliance interspersed with heartbreaking losses, like the one inflicted by Roberto Bautista Agut in Canada.
His calendar for the season thus far includes a title success in Buenos Aires, and a quarterfinal finish at Roland Garros, where he took the first set of Rafael Nadal, before bowing out in four sets.
While clay brings the best out of Schwartzman, he is a decent player on hard courts as well, with five of his 11 finals coming on the surface. But Los Cabos 2019 remains his only hard court title, with the other three triumphs coming on clay.
Schwartzman had fair runs at both San Diego and Indian Wells since the US Open, looking in decent form, losing in the quarter-finals of both to Andrey Rublev and Cam Norrie respectively
After a first round bye, being the number two seed here at Antwerp, Schwartzman was up against former world number one Andy Murray who is on the comeback trail and the Argentine put up a good performance to clinch a straight sets win, albeit hard fought.
Schwartzman was up against rising Americans Brandon Nakashima and Jenson Brooksby in the next two rounds, both of whom having had strong runs in during the hard court season in North America.
However, the Argentine put up a stellar display to prevail in straight sets on both occasions setting himself up for a title encounter against Sinner and an opportunity at redeeming, what by Schwartzman’s standards, will be a somewhat underwhelming season.
Sinner v Schwartzman Prediction and Tip
A match to look forward to between two players with very contrasting playing styles. Both have looked in form this week, but the surface is better suited to Sinner than Schwartzman.
Expect a tight match with Sinner prevailing in a deciding third set.
Tip: Sinner to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
