Alexander Zverev v Dusan Lajovic Head to Head
Zverev and Lajovic have featured in three career, head-to-head meetings till date, with the German winning all three of these matches. Their last meeting came in the last 16 of this year’s Australian Open, with the German winning in straight sets.

Zverev Hopes to Continue Rampaging Form
While the failure to open his Grand Slam account will rankle, Zverev has had a glittering season of professional tennis, winning five Tour titles, including two Masters 1000 crowns at Madrid and Indian Wells.
His last tournament, the Vienna Open, also saw him lift the championship title after consigning high-flying American Frances Tiafoe to a straight-set defeat in the final.
After twice recovering mid-match slumps to go past Australian Alex de Minaur and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first two rounds, the current World No.4 hammered Spanish teen sensation Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinal to set up a championship clash with Tiafoe.
The American, who reached the final on the back of a sizzling run of wins, was no match for the German in the title clash as Zverev beat him 7-5, 6-4 to lift his season’s fifth title.
With his sights firmly set on a third Masters 1000 title this season, the German will launch his Bercy campaign on Wednesday against seasoned Serbian star Dusan Lajovic.
On current form, the Serbian is simply no match for the German and what will make Lajovic’s task of going past the German doubly difficult is that he trails the German 0-3 on the head-to-head count.

Lajovic Faces Daunting Clash
Coming into his last event, the Vienna Open, on the back of a disappointing second-round finish at European Open in Antwerp, Belgium, Lajovic crashed out in the opening round itself after losing to burly American Frances Tiafoe.
His previous Masters 1000 campaign at Indian Wells also ended in a disastrous opening-round defeat to another American Tommy Paul.
Desperate to salvage a piece of silverware from an otherwise woeful season, the 34th-ranked Serbian opened his campaign at the Paris Masters with a straight-set victory over American Mackenzie McDonald.
The Serbian took a firm hold of the contest after bagging the opening set by a comfortable margin and kept up the heat on his rival to eventually close out a 6-3, 6-4 victory.
However, he faces a daunting in his next with in-form German World No.4 Alexander Zverev. The German holds an emphatic head-to-head lead over the Serbian and is coming off lifting his 18th career title in Vienna.
With odds stacked against him, the Serbian’s best chance would be catch the German unawares with aggressive play in the opening exchanges and hope to get on a roll.
Ever then, however, it would take a superhuman effort to wear down Zverev on current form.
Zverev v Lajovic Prediction and Tip
On ranking and current form, Zverev will start as the clear favorite and Lajovic as the underdog. Given his unflattering run of results in the recent weeks, the Serbian needs nothing short of a miracle to upset the odds and turn the match in his favor.
Tip: Zverev to win in straight sets: 1/3 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
