Tommy Paul v Leo Borg Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 18-year old Swede and the American, who is six years older.

Borg, Son of a Legend
Leo Borg is the son of Bjorn, the former 11-time Grand Slam champion and arguably one of the finest men ever to play the game of the tennis.
With Swedish tennis no longer at the same level as when Borg senior was ion his pomp, the decision to award a wildcard to the teenager is a bid by organisers to attract local fans to the event.
However, with him currently ranked 2,139 in the world, they should not expect too much of Borg. He has received several wild cards into Challenger events this season, but has yet to win a match.
However, he has benefitted because, with several withdrawals, from this event, Emil Ruusuvouri of Finland was given direct access into the main draw, and the wild card intended for him was bestowed on Borg instead.

Paul’s Best Results of 2021 on Clay
Paul, who won the French Open as a junior, played his best tennis of the year on clay, reaching the semi-finals in Parma in May and then performing sufficiently well at Roland Garros this year, that he was able to break into top 50 for the first time in his senior career.
He was largely unable to build on that when the action switched to grass and then hard courts, although he did reach the round of 16 at Indian Wells, his best ever showing in a Masters event, with a victory over Andriy Rublev not his name.
Since then, though he has suffered successive second round defeats in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Made to qualify in Paris for the Masters there last week, he beat Stefano Travaglia of Italy in the first round, but suffered another second round defeat, this time at the hands of the Pole Hubert Hurkasz.
Paul v Borg Prediction and Tip
Although it is great to see the name Borg lining-up in an ATP event again, anybody expecting the son to emulate the achievements of the father are likely to be disappointed. Whilst there are no sure fire things in sport, Paul winning this match is as close as it gets.
Tip: Paul to win: 1/20 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
