Alison Riske v Xinyu Wang Head to Head
This is the first meeting between the two players on the WTA Tour.

Wang Carves Raducanu Upset
20-year-old Xinyu Wang is heading into this match following an epic three-set win over the current US Open winner Emma Raducanu. The Chinese qualifier defeated the Brit 6-1, 6-7(0), 7-5, in a little over two and a half hours.
Wang won 71 percent of the points behind the first service and converted seven out of a possible 16 break points.
In the opening round, the youngster defeated Kateryna Kozlova in another three-setter to kickstart her Linz Open campaign on a winning note.
Currently ranked World No. 106, Wang has spent the better part of the season alternating between the WTA and low-tier events. Her best results entail a runner-up feat in the ITF Charlottesville and Columbus Challenger. On the doubles circuit, she won the title in Columbus and the WTA Courmayeur with Zheng Saisai.
Wang has shown a great deal of promise and looks primed to keep that rhythm going.

Riske, Looking Great in Linz
Alison Riske is yet to drop a set in the tournament, having so far successfully navigated the challenges against Mona Barthel and Alize Cornet.
She is now set to play in a quarterfinal for the first time since the Portoroz Open in Slovenia, where she ended up reaching the final before losing to Jasmine Paolini. Between then and now, the 73rd-ranked American has lost in the early rounds in Ostrava, Indian Wells, Tenerife, and Courmayeur.
In fact, such has been the case for a good majority of Riske’s year, marked with a litany of early-round defeats. While she hasn’t been in that great of a form, she has the experience and a much superior pedigree when compared to her Chinese counterpart.
Riske v Wang Prediction and Tip
Both players will fancy their chances of winning the match and reaching the semifinal. Riske has a slightly better chance, at least on paper, while Wang is looking to make waves on the tour. Expect an entertaining game of tennis.
Tip: Over 19.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
