Alison Riske v Jaqueline Cristian Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the 31 year old American, and the Romanian, who is eight years younger.

Riske Helped by Collins’ Retirement
Riske’s decline from being a top 20 ranked player two years ago to her current world ranking has been precipitous, but, after a season in which reaching the final in Slovenia two months ago was a rare highlight, she has the chance to end the season on a high.
Certainly, her progress through to the semi-final had been a serene one, with straight set victories over Mona Barthel, Alize Cornet, and Wang Xinyu all notched-up without undue difficulty.
She faced a familiar adversary in the shape of compatriot Danielle Collins, then world number 23, seeded tree in Linz and that proved to be a much tighter affair, at least initially.
After the first three games went with serve, Riske was the first to be broken, only to hit back to level straight away.
Collins saved a break point, but four games later Riske earned two more, converting the second of them. From there she served out for the match.
At that point, however, much to the disappointment of herself and the Linz crowd, Collins was forced to retire with injury, and Riske found herself in another final.

Lucky Loser Cristian Gets Another Slice of Good Fortune
World number 100 has become the first lucky loser to make a WTA final since Coco Gauff managed the same feat at this tournament two years ago.
The 23 year old will make her maiden final appearance after she was given a walkover on Thursday, after compatriot Simona Halep, was forced to retire with the knee injury she picked up during her quarter-final match.
It was her second slice of good fortune this week.
Having overcome her first round opponent, Kamilla Rakhimova in three sets, her proposed second round opponent, Rebecca Peterson of Sweden, also had to withdraw with injury.
Cristian beat another Russian, Veronika Kudermetova, the world number 32, and fourth seed in straight sets in their quarter final.
Riske v Cristian Prediction and Tip
Both players have benefitted from strokes of good fortune in making the final, from earning a reprieve as a lucky loser to seeing opponents retire through injury.
Provided though that both can stay fit and well, Riske as the more experienced player will start the clear favourite.
Tip: Riske to win: 4/9 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
