Slovak Number One Molcan

Molcan closed last year at a career high ranking, having started 20212 outside the top 300.

During the course of  the year, he reached his first senior ATP final in Belgrade, losing eventually to Novak Djokovic, and also became the Slovak number one.

He also reached three finals on the Challenger circuit, finishing runner-up in a tournament in the Czech Republic, but enjoying subsequent success in the same county, and again in Finland.

Kyrgios v Molcan Prediction and Tip

With Kyrgios promising to put on a display for the home fans, Molcan has been cast in the role of side-kick. Provided that the Australian can control his temperament and does not get involved in rows with court officials, he should give the local crowd what they want to see.
