Cori Gauff v Katerina Siniakova Head to Head
The pair have played each other twice before, Gauff winning on both occasions. Their first meeting was in Ostrava in 2022, and they played each other again in Parma last year, the American winning in three sets.

It is easy to forget that Gauff is still only 17, so long has she been around, and that the best years of her career lie ahead of her.
But with Serena Williams at the veteran stage of her career and struggling with injury, now is the chance to establish herself as the American number one.
Two years ago, in Melbourne she reached the fourth round of the Australian Open the first time she made the main draw in singles, and has twice been a quarter-finalist in the doubles, so she has a liking for playing in the country.
And she will take some encouragement from her performance last week in Adelaide, where, having brushed aside the challenge of the Norwegian qualifier, Ulrikke Elkeri, she led Ashleigh Barty, the world number one, by a set and a break, before the Australian rallied to beat her in three sets.

Siniakova Hopes to Make Transition to Singles
Siniakova has made her name as a doubles specialist, winning three Grand Slam titles, including the French Open last year with regular partner Barbora Krejcikova, and the pair also claimed Olympic gold playing for the Czech Republic in Tokyo. The duo rounded-off the year by clinching the WTA final title as well.
They finished runners-up at the Australian Open last February to Elise Mertens and Arnya Sabalenka.
She has won two singles titles, both in 2017, and reached the final in Bad Homburg on grass last year, but her individual performances have failed to match those on the doubles court, and she had a disappointing end to 2021.
The New Year did not begin any better either, with a first-round defeat last week in Adelaide to Anna Bondar of Hungary, the world number 92, in Melbourne.

Gauff has won both of their previous two encounters, and there is no reason to suggest the result will be anything different this time.
