Korda comes from a very successful and athletic family with several family members being standout athletes. The tennis player is certainly not far behind currently carving out a nice career for himself at the age of 21.

Moutet’s Return To The Top 100
The new rankings have Corentin Moutet back inside the top 100 which was his goal but the young Frenchman does not look primed to stop. Facing fellow Frenchman Pouille in the first round, Moutet overcome the loss of the first set to move on in 4.
Moutet is an interesting tennis player that plays very aggressively and with a lot of confidence. He rarely wavers from his style of play and that won’t ever change. He is an all-court type of player that adapts well to different conditions.
Taking down Korda is a big ask for Moutet but if he believes himself capable of doing it and I bet you he does, there is a chance..
Korda v Moutet Prediction and Tip
This is a very polarizing matchup between two tennis players that are similar in ways but also completely different. Aggressive play is the calling card of both but Korda does it more efficiently. The American has the better physical frame for such tennis and it shows.
He plays it more consistently and has been a lot more successfully than the Frenchman so far in their career. Expect Moutet to put up a good fight and even to win a set but I don’t see him pushing Korda too hard. The American is a junior champion here and has had big match experience at Grand Slams before.
With all of that combined, I expect him to win this match, most likely in four sets. Moutet will find a way to snatch one set but anything more than that would be a huge surprise for me, especially with the way Korda played in round 1..
