Jessica Pegula v Ons Jabeur Head to Head
Pegula leads Jabeur 2-1 although, the Tunisian won their last meeting in the 2021 WTA 500 Chicago in three sets.

Jabeur Off to a Shaky Start
Ons Jabeur, playing in her first WTA event since the Sydney International, defeated the veteran Russian Vera Zvonareva 6-2, 2-6, 7-5, in a little over two hours.
It wasn’t the most clinical of the performances from World No. 10 as she won only 65% of the points on the first service and committed her fair share of unforced errors. But that can be excused, considering that Jabeur has battled back problems over the last few weeks.
She withdrew from the Sydney Classic quarterfinal as a result and was also forced to skip the Australian Open.
It seems that Jabeur is not at her 100% yet, giving Pegula an opportunity to make quick work of the number eight seed.
That said, the 27-year-old has the momentum from reaching three singles finals in the last 12 months, in addition to reaching the latter rounds in the Indian Wells Open, Canadian Open, Wimbledon, and WTA 500 Charleston. If she is feeling at her best, Pegula may be in trouble.

Pegula Dispatches Gauff
Jessica Pegula was hardly challenged in her first-round bout against Cori Gauff. The 27-year-old overcame the teenage prodigy with 6-4, 6-4, to reach the last 16.
The American is competing in her first event since reaching the quarterfinal in the Australian Open where she ultimately fell to Ashleigh Barty. Before that, Pegula had a slow start to the season where she was 0-2 with early exits in Sydney and Melbourne.
Currently ranked World No. 14 – a career-best for her – Pegula reached the quarterfinal in Dubai last year after beating Karolina Pliskova at the same stage. Over the course of the season, she also made it to the quarters in Indian Wells Open, Montreal, Rome, and Berlin.
Jabeur v Pegula Prediction and Tip
This is a game that can very well go either way. Pegula will fancy her chances given her recent form but Jabeur’s consistency makes her a threat – barring her health problems.
It wouldn’t be surprising if this goes to three sets.
Tip: Over 21.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
