Cameron Norrie v Sebastian Korda Head to Head
Sebastian Korda and Camero Norrie played twice before with the latest coming a month ago in Melbourne. Korda easily won that one in straight sets as well as the one last year. That one was played in Delray Beach with Korda winning in straight sets again.

Struggles Galore for Norrie
After bursting onto the scene last year with several finals, his maiden ATP trophy and his maiden Masters trophy, Norrie seemed like a player that will be in content for the top 10. While that goal is feasible, his performances so far are far removed from a player in the top 10.
A record of 3-5 on the year is not something a player that finished the year at the ATP Finals would be proud of. One of those wins came in the first round of this event against Oscar Otte and there Norrie showed some of the tennis that saw him play in the semifinal the previous year.
Sebastian Korda halted him there with a solid win and Norrie will be ready for revenge. His form won’t scare Korda who easily bested him in Melbourne a month ago. The conditions should favour Korda more who has the more powerful game and the ball bounces quite high in Delray Beach allowing players to set up for their shots.

Korda Showing He Belongs
Sebastian Korda showed a lot of promise last year earning himself a trip to the Next Gen ATP Finals. There he faced Alcaraz in the final and lost but it was still a great conclusion to the solid year by the American. He started off the year with a solid run at the Australian Open losing to Pablo Carreno Busta.
His first event since then has been Delray Beach where he scored two very good wins in the first rounds. He defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis and Andreas Seppi without dropping a set for the quarterfinal. He will face a familiar face in Norrie but one that he beat twice so far. One of those wins came last year in Delray Beach.
Korda has the bigger games and has played much better so far this year which should give him the confidence that he will be able to win this match. If he plays his game on a very high level the win won’t be a question. He certainly would not mind going further than the final here.
Norrie v Korda Prediction and Tip
Sebastian Korda has dominated this matchup so far never dropping a set against Norrie. I certainly expect that trend to continue with the American showing a much higher leve this year than Norrie. Korda has been far more reliable and their match at the Australian Open has been quite telling.
Norrie was gifted a bagel set in that match and I simply can’t look past the matchup between those players. Norrie’s backhand leaves a lot to be desired and Korda knows how to exploit that. The American thrives playing at home in Florida and he proved that by reaching the final here last year.
He is a much better player now and I think he will score another great win and advance to the semifinal. Take Korda.
