Daria Kasatkina v Ajla Tomljanovic Head to Head
The pair have met once before, in the first round of Wimbledon in 2019, Tomljanovic winning in straight sets.

Kasatkina enjoyed a successful 2021 winning the Phillip Island Trophy in Australia, and the St. Petersburg Trophy, and finishing runner-up in Birmingham and at the Silicon Valley Classic.
She also made a strong start to this season, with back-to-back semi-finals at the Melbourne Summer Set and in Sydney.
The Russian then reached the third round of the Australian Open for the first time in her career, before her run was ended by Iga Świątek.
Last week, she had the misfortune to meet Świątek again in the first round in Dubai, and was easily beaten by the Pole, winning just three games off her.

Tomljanovic Yet to Find Her Best Form in 2022
Tomljanovic has never won a senior WTA title, although she has finished on the losing side in four finals, the most recent of which was in Thailand, three years ago.
That saw her reach a career high world ranking, which, she has now worked her way back to after several years of indifferent form, a quarter-final at Wimbledon last year giving a healthy boost to her points total.
She was hoping for a good set of results from the Australian tournaments to set up her for the rest of the year, but would have been disappointed by her returns from the three tournaments she contested – second round defeats in Adelaide and Sydney, and then losing to the Spaniard, Paulo Badosa, in the opening round of the Grand Slam itself.
She did battle through three rounds of qualification to make the main draw in Dubai, but then was beaten by another Russian, Varvara Gracheva, in straight sets.
