Sofia Kenin v Beatriz Haddad Maia Head to Head
There have been no previous meetings between Kenin and Haddad Maia at the highest level.
However, they have met once at the ITF level and another time in the qualifiers of a WTA tournament in 2017. Haddad Maia has won both.

Kenin’s Fallen to 130th in the World
It has been a season and a half to forget for Kenin. The American was once ranked fourth in the world but has now plummetted down to 130th on the WTA charts and this has been majorly down to fitness woes for Kenin.
Her return to the circuit this season hasn’t been exemplary either.
Kenin had started off with a couple of victories at the Adelaide International in January but since that she has managed to acquire a five-match losing streak. This includes defeats to Ash Barty, Daria Kasatkina, Madison Keys, Jelena Ostapenko and Ann Li, the last of those losses coming against a player who has herself not been better ranked than 44th in the WTA rankings.
Can Kenin get going and break that five-match losing streak?

Haddad Maia Coming off Monterrey Semifinal
Haddad Maia has been to the final of a WTA tournament just once in her career, which arguably hasn’t been very distinguished just yet.
The Brazilian has been into one final and had lost it to Jelena Ostapenko in 2017, making her recent semifinal at Monterrey Open her best showing in a long time.
A win over Marie Bouzkova in the quarterfinal in Monterrey given she had been a finalist at Guadalajara only a week ago would have given Hadda Maia a boost of confidence. And this is despite having won just one match in the tournaments preceding the Monterrey Open this year.
Can she make her form count against a player who has been struggling to get sort of a rhythm?
Kenin v Haddad Maia Prediction and Tip
Kenin might have won a Grand Slam but on current form it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise she is the second-fafourite in this. Haddad Maia starts a favourite here.
Tip: Hadda Maisi to win: 4/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
