Stefanos Tsitsipas v Alex De Minaur Head to Head
Stefanos Tsitsipas owns a 7-0 head-to-head record in tour-level meetings against De Minaur. And remarkably, he defeated the Aussie three times in 2021 and once already this season, dropping just one set in the process.

Tsitsipas Survives In Rollercoaster Opener
Stefanos Tsitsipas will want no more of American opponents languishing in his path this fortnight. The Greek was eliminated by Jenson Brooksby at Indian Wells last week, just a couple of days after being taken to the limit by Jack Sock.
And as fate would have it, he drew an American in his second-round match at the Miami Open in the form of J.J. Wolf. Wolf, a gregarious 23-year-old from Ohio, had reached this stage all the way from qualifying and had not dropped a set.
There was also the extra incentive of producing a better performance than his last outing in Acapulco when he was thrashed 6-1 6-0 by the third seed. And Wolf set the standard, winning four games in the first set, but was slightly outplayed by the experienced Tsitsipas who needed just one break of serve to snatch the opener.
In the second set, Wolf cranked the decibel levels in the Hard Rock Stadium with some flashy shots including one outrageous passing shot lefty forehand winner that got its own highlight reel on YouTube. After both players exchanged breaks in the second set, it took a tiebreak to decide matters. Luckily for Wolf, he came up with two huge serves that turned the set on its head.
In the third set, the World No. 5 regrouped and upped the ante. Tsitsipas’ precision was top notch as he broke the American three times, rounding off victory thanks when Wolf dumped the final forehand into the net.

De Minaur Defeats Fellow Aussie Thompson
Alex De Minaur needed just 68 minutes to brush aside Jordan Thompson 6-2 6-3 for his 10th win of the season. De Minaur delivered a statement of intent of why he is in no mood of relinquishing his status as Australia’s top-ranked player.
De Minaur put pressure as early as the third game on Thompson’s serve, using his quick feet to unbalance the World No. 78. Thomspon caved in and dropped his serve. The 25th seed repeated the trick in the seventh game, breaking Thompson again and serving for a one-set lead.
In the second set, De Minaur continued in a similar vein, breaking Thompson twice and taking a commanding 4-0 lead. The match was effectively over as a contest, and even Thompson’s late fightback in which he got his first break proved too little too late to change the scoreline.
The World No. 28 made it double-digit wins for the year and targets to record his first win in eight attempts when he faces Tsitsipas on Monday.
Tsitsipas v De Minaur Prediction and Tip
The head-to-head is very hard to digest. And what is even more striking, De Minaur has won a combined three sets in seven meetings against Tsitsipas, so this looks like a terrible matchup for him. However, this rivalry has featured at least 20 or more games in six of their seven meetings. For a decent value, the games market looks like the logical choice here.
Tip: Over 21.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
