Zverev Back on Track
Alexander Zverev is back o winning ways after a couple of great wins in the Principality of Monaco. The German player has been somewhat of a disappointment this year failing to assert himself truly as the 3rd best player in the year which by the end of last year he truly was.
His result are not terrible as he has a 17-5 record on the year but he is still without a trophy and he certainly aims at winning them at most events he plays. His run to the semis was quite impressive as he faced Delbonis, Carreno Busta and Sinner.
The match against Sinner was a stunner and despite trying his best to complicate things maximally, Zverev was able to come out on top. He struggle with a leg injury, with questionable choices, with the crowd being against him but he rose out on top and that should give him confidence.

Tsitsipas 8-0 in Monaco
Dating back to last year, Stefanos Tsitsipas is currently on an 8-match winning streak in the coastal country. He won the trophy last year in stellar fashion bulldozing his way to the final and easily beating Rublev. This year it’s looking equally impressive as his clay game shines once more.
Dominating rallies with his forehand and his serve to help in the cause, Tsitsipas is very hard to beat. His stamina is also one of the best in the tour which helps him grind out matches against opponents who can’t hang on as long as he can.
Wins over Fognini, Djere and Schwartzman are very impressive, especially the last one considering the circumstances. He was 6-2 5-2 up serving for the match t 5-4 only to complicate things by losing that set in the tiebreak. He was down 0-4 in the final set but fought back to win six games in a row and win the match.
Zverev v Tsitsipas Prediction and Tip
There are a couple of things st remember in this matchup. Both players are playing very well at the moment but Tsitsipas is the better player on clay. They played twice and both times it was Tsitsipas who won but both matches were very close. Neither player is expected to cruise tomorrow.
Zverev has his serve as a powerful weapon and he can exploit Tsitsipas and his very weak backhand return. The German is carrying a leg injury that did not hamper him too much against Sinner but required an MTO. Tsitsipas on the other hand is rather healthy.
Both survived hard clashes in the quarterfinals and will carry over some fatigue with Zverev having a couple of hours of more rest. It’s really hard to call this one but I’m going to go with Stefanos as he is healthy and is 8-0 in Monte-Carlo dating back to last year. He is also 2-0 vs Zverev on clay and 6-3 overall. 3 sets should be on the table as well.
Tip: Tsitsipas to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
