Cameron Norrie v Marton Fucsovics Head to Head
There have been three previous meetings between these two players and Norrie has won every single time. Their only match on clay came at the 2019 Monte Carlo Masters and Norrie was a 7-6, 6-3 winner.

After getting a first round bye, Norrie had gone into his second round encounter against Egor Gerasimov as a very heavy favourite. That he had to scrape through to his win would have come as a surprise to most.
Norrie overcame the loss of the first set to come through in a match lasting two hours and 39 minutes to seal his third round berth following on from his opening loss in Monte Carlo.
The Brit won 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 in a match where he saw nine break-points against him and was broken three times. On the other hand he overcame his opponent’s serve four times and came through thanks to his better second serve (56% to Gerasimov’s 44%).
Norrie now faces an opponent who has shown this season he is capable of a solid showing on clay.

Fucsovics Continues to Move Through the Draw Easily
A second round ouster at Monte Carlo might not have augured too well for Fucsovics but it must be quickly added that defeat came at the hands of Diego Schwartzman. What’s been interesting to see is how things have panned out for the Hungarian after that.
Following a 6-4, 6-2 demolition of Jordan Thompson in the first round, Fucsovics routed Federico Delbonis in the second, winning 6-2, 6-1 to seal off his third round berth. The match lasted a mere hour and 18 minutes.
With a far superior serving percentage under his belt, Fucsovics looked to have gained that advantage over his opponent – he won 74% of his first serve points to Delbonis’ 36%.
And while he was broken once, Fucsovics returned the compliment on six occasions to make it to round three.
