Emil Ruusuvuori v Maxime Cressy Head to Head
Ruusuvuori won their only tour-level meeting in Miami this year. He also won a lower level match earlier, thus has a 2-0 overall lead against the American.

Ruusuvuori Battles Past Nishioka
Emil Ruusuvuori beat Yoshihito Nishioka in straight sets on Monday, but it took the Finn two hours and 21 minutes to register the first round victory over the Japanese and advance to the Round of 16 of the Munich Open.
The World no. 63 fought back from 3-5 down in the first set to force the tiebreak and the edged out Nishioka with three minibreaks against two in the tiebreak to go one set up.
Ruusuvuori started off well in the second, taking a 2-0 lead, but the Japanese player got the break back soon, before the Finn surged ahead once again in the contest with a second break in the 11th game. He served out the match in the next game for a 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 victory.
The win improved Ruusuvuori to 15-9 this season. He reached his maiden final in the Maharashtra Open earlier this season, finishing runner-up to Joao Sousa.
Ruusuvuori, who is 4-2 on clay this season, had won one match in Monte Carlo and two in the Barcelona Open. He is playing in Munich for the second time after losing in the first round on his debut last season.

Cressy Ends Losing Streak
Maxime Cressy ended his seven-match losing streak in the main draws with a straight sets win over sixth seed Dan Evans on Tuesday.
The American had a brilliant start to the season, which included a run to the final in Melbourne, a quarterfinal appearance in Sydney and a fourth round debut at the Australian Open. But ever since his last 16 defeat to Daniil Medvedev in the Melbourne major, Cressy had not won a single main draw match.
Cressy lost in the first rounds in the next seven tournaments, which included a Challenger Tour event.
However, the winless run ended with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Evans on Tuesday. The match, which got suspended on Monday, saw Cressy serve seven aces and win 79% points on the back of his first serve. He also saved 1 of 3 break points and converted four of six to clinch the match in an hour and 21 minutes.
With the win, Cressy is now 10-9 this season. It was also his first ever win on clay at the tour-level.
Ruusuvuori v Cressy Prediction and Tip
Given the form of two players, Ruusuvuori is expected to win this one and advance to a third quarterfinal this season.
