Norrie on Debut in Madrid
Cameron Norrie has been in good form this season, having picked up his third ATP title in Delray Beach and finished runner-up in Acapulco in what was his ninth career final.
The Briton had shown last year that he can be a dangerous player on clay as well, reaching his first two finals on the surface, in Estoril and Lyon.
Overall, Norrie is 26-20 on clay and 2-2 on the surface this season. The left-hander lost his opening match in Monte-Carlo, but won two matches in Barcelona, before falling to Alex de Minaur.
The 26-year-old brings a 17-10 season record to Madrid, where he will be making his debut this season. Can he get his Madrid campaign off to a winning start?

Kwon Qualifies for the Main Draw
It was a tough first qualifying round for Soonwoo Kwon on Saturday, as the Korean had to rebound from a set down to beat China’s Shang Juncheng.
But following the 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 win over the Chinese, he needed just two sets to beat France’s Ugo Humbert on Sunday and qualify for the main draw. Kwon’s 7-6, 6-3 win on Sunday puts him in the main draw in Madrid for the first time.
The World No. 71 is 10-10 overall this season and 1-1 on clay. He hasn’t played much on the surface at the top level, but has a 50% win record from his 12 matches.
While Kwon’s won 10 matches this season, he has won consecutive matches just once, at the Davis Cup, where he won both his singles matches against Austria.
Norrie v Kwon Prediction and Tip
Norrie should win this in straight sets against the fighting Kwon and advance for a second round meeting with John Isner, who beat Filip Krajinovic in the first round.
Tip: Norrie to win in straight sets: 4/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
