Dalma Galfi v Ulrikke Eikeri Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 22-year old Hungarian, and the Norwegian, who is seven years older.

Galfi is a former ITF Junior World Champion, who won the 2015 girls’ singles at the US Open, and is one of two Hungarians in the main draw in Rabat, alongside Panna Udvardy.
Last year, she reached her first WTA semi-final as a wildcard on home soil at the Budapest Open, and qualified for her first Grand Slam tournament at the US Open a few months’ later.
Progress has continued this year, and she has recently broken into the top 100 for the first time in her career.
She managed to qualify for both Indian Wells and Miami for the first time ever, although did not progress much further than that, but reached the semi-final of an ITF clay court event in Portugal last month and, last week, the last eight of another tournament in Germany.

Eikeri Escapes the Rigours of Qualifying
This is a comparatively appearance for the Norwegian Eikeri in the main draw of a WTA event, and the first time she has got to this stage in 2022 without going through the rigours of qualifying initially.
She can, though, regard what she did in Charleston as a minor achievement, where she reached the second round, before losing to the British player Heather Watson
Since then she played for Norway in the Billie Jean King Cup, but lost her three singles’ matches, and was knocked out in the first round of qualifying for Rome.
Galfi v Eikeri Prediction and Tip
Galfi will be keen to continue her progress against an opponent ranked considerably lower than her in the world. It is difficult to look beyond a win for the Hungarian.
