Arantxa Rus v Dalma Galfi Head to Head
Rus leads 1-0 although, they last met in 2018 in a lesser-known ITF event in Andrezieux-Boutheon; she won in straight sets.

Arantxa Rus started her journey in Rabat with a near-flawless 6-3, 6-0 win over Lulu Radovic, although, she may have benefited from an inferior performance by the Swiss. The Dutchwoman just won 58% of the points on the first serve although, she did bag all five breakpoints.
Her season on the WTA Tour has been an uneventful one as she struggled to move past the early rounds. Her best run came in Doha 1000 where she reached round two as a qualifier – losing ultimately to Tereza Martincova.
In Istanbul, Rus lost to Sorana Cirstea and since then, she had kept herself to the ITF Circuit – at least until now.
The current World No. 76 did see some success there as she won the ITF title in Santa Margherita di Pula 3 – her 28th title on the circuit and 40th final overall.
However, Rus followed that with disappointing early losses to Arianne Hartono and Erika Andreeva in ITF Wiesbaden and La Bisbal D’emporda.

Galfi Moves Past Eikeri
Dalma Galfi also enjoyed a good start in the tournament as she moved past Ulrikke Pia Eikeri 6-2, 7-5.
Now ranking World No. 98, it has been a decent year for the 23-year-old Hungarian – at least by her standards. She broke into the top 100 for the first time in her career, reaching a high of #91 just last month.
A lot of this can be attributed to her performance on the ITF Tour and low-tier events; Galfi was a semifinalist in Manacor and Oeiras. On the WTA Tour, her best results came in Miami where she made it to the second round as a qualifier.
Most recently, Galfi participated in the Karlsruhe Challenger where she lost to Anna-Lena Friedsam in the quarterfinal.
Rus v Galfi Prediction and Tip
Rus may be the odds-on favourite but her unpredictability means Galfi has a much better chance of winning this one. In all fairness, this can swing either way since Rus is fairly well experienced to make up for her lack of consistency.
