Paula Badosa v Veronika Kudermetova

Third seeded Paula Badosa had a struggle on her hands in her second round win over Kaja Juvan while Veronika Kudermetova, who is ranked a few places lower than her opponent here, routed Aleksandra Krunic in straight sets to enter round three.

Badosa has, however, recorded wins in both her previous matches against Kudermetova and that should give her an edge but will that be enough to help her through?

This question has been raised by our tennis expert too in his Badosa v Kudermetova preview here, and the reason behind it is the latter’s form. Kudermetova has been doing well in the recent past which could blunt her opponent’s edge and help the Russian win a set but Badosa can be expected to be too strong here.

Tip: Badosa to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Stefanos Tsitsipas v Mikael Ymer

No, Stefanos Tsitsipas hasn’t been in the best of form this French Open. He was stretched to five sets in the first round by Lorenzo Musetti and then taken to four, gruelling sets by Zdenek Kolar in the second.

Does that, however, mean he wouldn’t be a handful against a player he has defeated multiple times in the past?

Sure, Mikael Ymer has shown traces of his potential on clay, having gotten to this stage with a shock win over Dan Evans. Will that, however, be enough to challenge a player of the pedigree of Tsitsipas, who has shown what he is capable of clay all season?

Our tennis expert does not seem to think so in his Tsitsipas v Ymer match preview here, and is backing the Greek number one for a straight-set win.

Tip: Tsitsipas to win in straight sets: 1/2 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Andrey Rublev v Cristian Garin

Andrey Rublev has defeated Cristian Garin in both their previous two encounters but will that be enough for the Russian to take down his opponent in straight sets in this third round match?

Garin looks to have found some of his rhythm in this tournament but at the same time Rublev has struggled to ease his way past his opponents.

Rublev would have been expected to get past both, Soon-woo Kwon and Federico Delbonis in straight sets but he has already dropped a set apiece in both those matches.

His Chilean opponent has been taken to four sets in both his first two rounds too but as mentioned in our Rublev v Garin preview, there is always that chance that Garin could end up nicking a set off Rublev in this one.

Tip: Rublev to win in four (14/5) or five sets (13/2): (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
