Back To Work For Kyrgios
After traditionally skipping the European clay season Nick Kyrgios is back to playing some tennis. It comes on a surface that he really loves because he’s pretty good on it.
Not much needs to be said about his prowess on grass because it fits his style really well. Powerful serve, and tremendous ability to shorten the points is everything you want on grass. He could have gotten pretty far last year at Wimbledon had he not injured himself.
This year he’ll be in a position to do that as he explained that his goal is to win the event. He believes himself capable and doubting him would be dangerous. His first test on that path comes in Stuttgart where he will face a youngster ready to battle.
9-4 so far on the year is very good for Kyrgios. But what can he do after not playing for two entire months? We will see but it’s going to be good to have him back on the courts again.

Short Break for Lehecka
Jiri Lehecka is currently enjoying his breakout year as this year the Czech youngster finally showed that he belongs among the professionals. A solid challenger player for a while, Lehecka finally got some chances on the ATP tour this year and it’s been okay.
The French Open was a short experience due to running into David Goffin but he did not have to play the qualies and that’s a positive. Lehecka is 23-15 on the year and most of that came on clay where the plays his best tennis. In theory, he should be a very solid grass player.
He has a powerful serve and a solid forehand. He likes to attack but sometimes he can miss quite a bit. He’s young and consistency will come with experience. He never played a match an official match on grass before so keep that in mind. This will be a new experience for him.
The last couple of events have been solid for him but after a short break, it’s questionable what type of form he will display. It might be a bit of a struggle.
Kyrgios v Lehecka Prediction and Tip
Obviously, Nick Kyrgios is the better layer, the far better player. He is also more experience on grass so anything but his win would be a major surprise. He’s demonstrated a fairly decent ability to just ‘get back into things’ after long layoffs before so I don’t think there will be any issues there.
There might be some for Lehecka who also did not play in a while and doesn’t have an official match on grass. I believe he’ll be decent because he doesn’t get intimated in matches like these but I don’t see him winning it. I could see him pushing Kyrgios to a tiebreak or two. Still, back Nick.
Tip: Kyrgios to win in straight sets: 10/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
