Zhu Lin v Jodie Burrage Head to Head
Burrage beat Zhu in straight sets in their only meeting at an ITF event in Surbriton this week.

Beaten by Jodie Burrage in the first round at Surbriton, Zhu has a chance to get an immediate revenge in Nottingham.
The 28-year-old Chinese player, who is 1-3 on the tour this season, has already won two titles at the ITF level this year. She won in Mexico and Tunisia to take her tally of ITF titles to 14 from 26 finals.
Zhu, who picked up her maiden WTA 125 title in Seoul in December, had qualified for the main draw at French Open, but fell in the first round to Veronica Kudermetova.
While she did well at the lower level, she failed to qualify for most of the WTA tournaments this year. Her only main draw win on the tour came over Samantha Stosur in Melbourne.
She is 11-20 from all tournaments on grass (across levels) in her career. She will be keen to get her first win on the surface this year.

Burrage Looking to Build on Surbriton Showing
Jodie Burrage is coming off a decent ITF tournament in Surbriton. The 23-year-old Briton, who began the tournament by beating Zhu, went on to reach the semifinals of the tournament before falling to Alison Van Uytvanck in straight sets.
The Briton did get lucky in the semifinal, when her opponent Mihaela Buzărnescu had to retire while she was a set up.
Burrage, who has four ITF titles from 10 finals, last won a title in Dubai last year.
Overall, the world no. 260 has an 18-14 record this season. She will be featuring in a main draw match on the Tour for the first time since her first round match in Prague last year.
It will be interesting to see if she can beat Zhu once again.

Having beaten Zhu recently, Burrage will be confident going into this contest and despite the Chinese player’s superior ranking, the Briton will fancy her chances in the match.
