Emma Raducanu v Viktorija Golubic Head to Head
This will be the first meeting between the two players on the WTA Tour.

One year ago, 18-year-old Emma Raducanu made her WTA Tour debut right here in Nottingham. Since then, the Brit has gone on to crack the top 20 while reaching a career-high of World No. 11.
In the process, she won the US Open as a qualifier and later reached the fourth round in Wimbledon and the quarterfinals in Cluj-Napoca and Stuttgart.
For the season so far, Raducanu’s record is at a humble 8-10 as the youngster continues to build her form and gain the much-needed experience. By her own admission, she has ways to go but perhaps, playing on home turf these next few weeks can help her cause.
Her clay swing was comparatively better than the first half of the season; Emma reached the third round in Madrid and round two in the French Open, losing respectively to Anhelina Kalinina and Aliaksandra Sasnovich.
Clearly, there is a good chance that she may endure the same fate against Golubic – who is much more experienced. However, Raducanu is a prodigy in the making and can surprise the Swiss.

Golubic, Seeking Revival on Grass
Viktorija Golubic is coming off a bleak spell on clay, having lost in the opening rounds in Stuttgart, Madrid, Rome, and Paris. The exception to this was the Strasbourg Open where she reached a rare quarterfinal in 2022.
For what it’s worth, the 29-year-old Swiss has a good chance of turning this rut around on the grass. Although she has zero titles on the surface, she has traditionally fared better here.
Last year, Golubic reached was among the elite eight in Wimbledon and WTA Eastbourne, defeating the likes of Belinda Bencic, Samantha Stosur, Danielle Collins, and Madison Keys.
Here in Nottingham, the odds are stacked against her – at least when we look at the whole picture. After all, she is up against the home favourite and hasn’t got that much momentum in her game.
Raducanu v Golubic Prediction and Tip
The match can very well swing either way. Raducanu makes for a decent bet but her chances of winning are just as good as Golubic’s. On a safer side, this both players will likely be tested and the game may go to well over 20.5.
