Kyrgios Coming off Stuttgart Semis
Having not played any competitive tennis since his semifinal appearance at the Houston Open in April, Kyrgios made it back to the grass courts of Stuttgart with a solid display.
Showing exemplary discipline, Kyrgios managed to overcome Jiri Lehecka, Nikoloz Basilashvili and Marton Fucsovics to make it to the semifinal. And even against an in-form and grass-court lover Andy Murray in that semifinal, Kyrgios put up a fight.
In the end, Murray came away with a 7-6 (5), 6-2 victory, but not before Kyrgios showed, yet again, what he is capable of.
This isn’t to say Kyrgios can be trusted to continue with the same form and discipline without imploding at the first signs of court distress but for now, it looks like he can challenge some of the best in the business.

Altmaier Needs to Overturn Three-Match Losing Streak
While Altmaier has been struggling to notch up victories at the highest level, having lost his last three matches in a row, his real troubles coming into this encounter stem from his problems on grass.
Altmaier, who had lost in straight sets to Oscar Otte in the first round at Stuttgart Open, has a career win-loss record of 2-3 on this surface.
It underlines the fact he has barely had any experience on this surface and even if you add his Challenger and lower level matches on grass, Altmaier has played just 10 in all.
Now up against a player of the calibre of Kyrgios, Altmaier’s best hope is for the Aussie to lose his own battle. Because on his own, it looks like Altmaier could be going down in a jiffy in this one.
Kyrgios v Altmaier Prediction and Tip
Kyrgios is a heavy favourite in this one at 3/25 and while we all know what he is capable of, it would take a monumental effort for the Aussie to lose this.
Tip: Kyrgios to win in straight sets: 1/2 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
