Beatriz Haddad Maia v Kaja Juvan Head to Head
It’s 2-0 to Maia; she won both their meetings on the hard courts in 2019 in Auckland and Melbourne.

Maia, a Dark Horse this Year
World No. 29 Beatriz Haddad Maia is coming to London on the back of the best grass results on the WTA Tour. She is 13-1 (37-13 YTD) with titles in Nottingham and Birmingham and a semifinal stint in Eastbourne.
She is now poised to go even further up when the new rankings are updated on Monday.
Even though there are no points in play at Wimbledon 2022, the pursuit of historic glory alone should be enough to keep the Brazilian piqued in London for the next two weeks.
Beatriz is no one-hit-wonder by any chance – she has proven herself on clay courts (two WTA Challenger finals) and doubles final feat the Australian Open.
She will need a clam head, of course – players have been known to succumb to pressure and expectations. That said, Maia has handled herself brilliantly of late and her game has improved significantly.

Juvan in a Poor Form
Kaja Juvan’s grass swing so far did not quite go as per the plan as she lost her opening matches in Birmingham and Bad Homburg. With no momentum in the picture, her prospects of beating the most in-form player on the circuit right now are certainly bleak.
Her last two losses have come at the hands of players ranked lower than her – Lucia Bronzetti and Lauren Davis. The 21-year-old Slovenian was much more impressive on clay where she made her WTA final debut in Strasbourg.
That run, however, was preceded by a litany of opening-round exits with most of her on-tour victories coming in the qualifying rounds.
Maia v Juvan Prediction and Tip
Expect Maia to win this one comfortably. Had Juvan been in a slightly better form, she could have caused an upset but the chances of that are quite low.
Tip: Maia to win 2-0: 3/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
