Jack Draper v Zizou Bergs Head to Head

Jack Draper comes into the tournament in rich vein of form. The 20-year-old local hope made it to the semifinals of the Eastbourne International this week, defeating Jenson Brooksby, Diego Schwartzman and Ryan Peniston before being edged out by Maxime Cressy in a closely contested three-setter.
The left-hander had also beaten Taylor Fritz in the first round at Queen’s last week before exiting going down to Emil Ruusuvuori.
Draper’s also displayed splendid form at the Challenger level, reaching four finals and winning all of them. Three of those were in Forli, Italy, while he won the last one at Saint-Brieuc by beating his Tuesday’s opponent in the final.
Draper made his only Grand Slam appearance at Wimbledon last year, where playing as a wild card he succeeded in taking a set of Novak Djokovic before bowing out of the first round.
He has become a much-improved player since then and there are a lot of expectations from him to deliver in his second Wimbledon appearance.

Bergs Comes in as Ilkley Champion
Wild card Zizou Bergs will be making his Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon this year.
The 23-year-old Belgian is well prepared for the tournament as he comes in as the Ilkley Challenger champion. Coming through the qualifiers, Bergs defeated some solid players in Jurij Rodionov, Andreas Seppi, Alexei Popyrin and Jack Sock to claim his first ever grass-court title.
This was his third Challenger final of the season, all played on different surfaces.
He had finished runner-up in the first two, but triumphed in Ilkley to claim his fourth Challenger Tour title.
Ranked No. 146, Bergs is inexperienced at this level, but will give Draper a tough fight in the first round.
