Tseng is the 2018 Junior Champion
2018 Wimbledon junior champion, Tseng Chun-hsin is all set for his senior debut at the grass-court major. The Chinese Taipei player had received a wild card for the Australian Open this year and had also qualified for the French Open, but made first -round exits in what were his first two Grand Slam appearances.
The 20-year-old had an incredible 2018, when he finished junior runner-up at the Australian Open, won the boys’ titles at the French Open and Wimbledon and was a boys’ semifinalist at the U.S. Open. He was also the junior No. 1 thanks to those performances.
A winner of four Futures and three Challenger titles, Tseng reached three Challenger finals this year. He won the titles in Bengaluru and Murcia, Spain and finished runner-up in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy.
The World No. 93 will be playing his first senior-level match on grass court. Having achieved success as a junior player, can he now step up on the bigger stage?

World No. 283 Alastair Gray has been awarded a wild card for his first ever Grand Slam. The 24-year-old Briton has a 2-11 record on grass from all levels.
This year, Gray has a 1-4 record on grass. His win came over Mark Whitehouse in the first round at the Surbiton Challenger. He was knocked out in the second round in Surbiton by Christopher O’Connell. Gray then lost in the first round of the Nottingham Challenger and couldn’t go past the first qualifying rounds in Queen’s and Eastbourne.
Gray has made just two main draw appearances at the top level and has lost both the matches.
He has won two of his four World Tennis Tour titles this year in Shrewsbury and Glasgow and finished runner-up in Trimbach, Switzerland.
