Good Start for de Minaur
Alex de Minaur shook off the Eastbourne disappointment in solid fashion by beating Hugo Dellien of Bolivia in straight sets. It was a decent match from de Minaur beating a player that has no grass skill whatsoever.
It was a bit of a strange match as de Minaur did not play his best. Dellien gave him quite a bit of trouble, especially on his 2nd serve but the Bolivian was simply not being to keep the Aussie away from chances on his own serve. He gave him 10 break chances and the Aussie took 7 of them.
Alex was 5-3 before Wimbledon and he hopes to do well at the major as well. He hasn’t had much success here in the past with his best result coming in 2018 when he reached the 3rd round.
His game is all about covering the court and counter-attacking when you least expect it. It’s not an ideal fit for grass but he makes it work.

Draper Shines at Wimbledon
Jack Draper finally got his maiden win at Wimbledon after losing out to Novak Djokovic last year. He did win a set in that one but this around he’s in round two of the event. The win came over Ziou Bergs from Belgium who put up a good fight in this one.
Nearly three hours were needed for Draper to win this one with the final set being quite tricky. Draper had an early break in that one but failed to hold on to it and was forced to finish it off in a tiebreak. It was a solid match from Draper as he was quite dominant when he hit his first serve.
The percentage was not that high but it was enough to win this one. Obviously, he will need to improve on that if he hopes to make a deep run here and he’s certainly capable of doing it.
Draper is 31-8 on the year and 6-3 on the grass so he’s well on his way to properly break out.
de Minaur v Draper Prediction and Tip
As much as I like Draper and as much as the crowd will be backing him I think he will have a lot of trouble against de Minaur. The Aussie player has all the tools to frustrate him starting from his speed, to his return to his general playstyle.
Draper certainly can win this match but he will need a near-perfect outing to get it done. I don’t think he’s going to do it. I could see him win a set but nothing more. Take de Minaur.
Tip: de Minaur to win in four sets: 4/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
