Andrey Rublev v Alexander Bublik Head to Head
The player have met three times, with Rublev winning on all occasions on the hard courts. Their most recent meeting was in Rotterdam in 2020 and Bublik has evolved as a player considerably since then.

It has been a mixed season for Russian Andrey Rublev.
He did well early in the season to win titles at Marseille and Dubai as well as make the semis at Indian Wells.
The clay swing got off well for him winning the Belgrade Open defeating Novak Djokovic in the final, but ended in a sub- optimal fashion losing to Marin Cilic in the quarters at the French Open.
With a first round loss at Halle and the Wimbledon ban for Russians, it has been a slow summer for Rublev who looked to return to winning ways this week at the ATP 250 in Bastad.
The number two seed looked good getting into the semis, but a surprise one sided loss against the in-form Sebastian Baez set back his week.
Rublev will be hoping for a better run this week in Hamburg.
Good Week For Bublik
The season started well for Kazhak Alexander Bublik, with him winning the ATP 250 at Montpellier, but then had a drop in form through the hard court season early in the year.
With him not being the most comfortable on the clay, one did not expect much from him on the slower dirt and that is how the clay swing panned out for him.
However, with his game well suited for the grass, it was a disappointment with his early losses headed into Wimbledon and at Wimbledon itself. Some of it can be alluded to the luck of running into grass court specialists like Andy Murray and Marin Cili early at Stuttgart and Queens.
It was a much better week for Bublik at the Hall of Fame Open on the grass courts at Newport, Rhode Island. The Kazakh put up a stellar show against Murray in the quarters and at the time of publishing was contesting the tournament final against American Max Cressy.
Rublev v Bublik Prediction and Tip
Bublik comes into this tournament confident after a strong performance at the Hall of Fame Open, where as Rublev had a disappointing loss in Bastad.
However, the change of surface will be challenging for Bublik given his comfort on the faster surfaces.
Expect a tight contest with Rublev prevailing in a decider.
