Galfi Seeking to Translate Form into WTA Tournaments
Dalma Galfi has been dominating the ITF level and is in rich vein of form having a 31-17 record on all surfaces this year. She won the Ilkley ITF tournament last month and reach the final of the Contrexeville challenger earlier this month.
The 23 year old Hungarian is a very good prospect in the WTA tour. She is extremely tall, has a difficult serve to return and is extremely comfortable from the baseline.
With more experience in high level tournaments Galfi’s game can turn into something similar to that of Paula Badosa. She is taking part in this event for the first time in her career.
Galfi is 12-8 on clay this year. She has won 10 of her past 13 matches on all surfaces and will head into Hamburg quite confident despite her first round exit in Budapest.
