Lajovic triumphed 7-5, 6-3 in an hour and 31 minutes, as he slammed eight aces and faced just one break-point in the entire contest. He wasn’t quite broken in the match, while getting himself one break apiece in both the sets.
This wins follows another straight-set victory against Vitaliy Sachko for Lajovic, who had last won back to back matches in Madrid.

Misolic Sending Shockwaves in Kitzbuhel
He is 20 years old and featuring in his first ever ATP top level competition main draw but Misolic has already reached the quarterfinals here. The world number 205 can expect to break into a new career-best irrespective of what happens in this encounter.
Misolic, who had overcome Daniel Dutra da Silva in his opening round match in straight sets, wasted no time in getting past the 4/6 favourite Pablo Andujar in the round of 16.
In a match lasting a mere hour and 39 minutes, Misolic carved out a 6-4, 6-0 win over Andujar with the Austrian player upping the ante with ease after a slow start in the first set.
The two players exchanged four breaks of serves between games four and nine of the first set but from there on it was all one-way traffic as Misolic won seven games in a row to seal his second round berth.
Things could get a lot tougher here but his younger legs and momentum could play a part in this encounter.
