Alize Cornet v Linda Noskova Head to Head
This will be their first meeting on the WTA Tour.

Noskova, a Prodigy in the Making
Linda Noskova may be just 17 years old, and not many people may have heard of her, but that may change by the end of the year.
The Czech teenager already has seven ITF finals to her name (six titles, one runner-up), including the two she bagged this season.
As a result, Noskova has already moved up to the #112 spot in the rankings – despite making her WTA Tour debut only this year in the French Open. In Paris, she cleared the qualifiers successfully but lost to Emma Raducanu in a fierce three-setter.
Linda followed that with a semifinal stint in the Makarska Challenger – beating Ekaterine Gorgodze, Viktoriya Tomova, and Tara Wurth.
She is definitely a player to watch out for, as evident from her successful result over Natalia Vikhlyantseva with 6-1, 3-1 (retired). She will fancy her chances given her home advantage and Cornet’s rocky form.

Cornet Moves Past Zakharova
32-year-old Alize Cornet has endured an abysmal season with a 16-16 tally, following her win over Anastasia Zakharova with 6-2, 6-3 in round one.
What’s more surprising is that the Frenchwoman bagged a good chunk of those wins in the grass swing by reaching the semis in Bad Homburg and the round of 16 in Wimbledon. In both tournaments, Alize defeated a few big names like Iga Swiatek, Angelique Kerber, and Yulia Putintseva.
Alize will now hope to build on that success and rely on her vast experience – stretching across 14 WTA career finals.
She was also a quarterfinalist at this year’s Australian Open (beating Garbine Muguruza and Simona Halep en route) – and that sprint should also help her out on the hard courts in Prague.
Cornet v Noskova Prediction and Tip
This can be a wild affair – it can either swing entirely to Cornet’s way, or Noskova can put up a fight and make things difficult for her opponent. We are in store for an exciting match of tennis.
