Quentin Halys v Ricardas Berankis Head to Head
Halys won their only tour-level meeting in Pune earlier this year.
The Frenchman has an overall record of 3-1 against the Lithuanian, having also beaten the latter in the final of the Lille Challenger earlier this year. His other Challenger win over Berankis came last year, while the latter got his only win over Halys in 2018.

Quentin Halys has displayed sublime form at the Challenger level this season, as a result of which he has made significant gains in the rankings.
Languishing at No. 151 at the start of the year, the Frenchman has consistently improved his rankings this year, breaking into the top 100 and reaching a career high ranking of 73 this week.
Some of his highlights this season included Challenger titles in Pau and Lille and runner-up finishes in Forli, Turin and Bordeaux.
On the tour, the 25-year-old is 4-6 this season and most recently, he was beaten in the first round of the Atlanta Open last week.
Three of his wins this year came on grass in Mallorca, Wimbledon and Newport and one win came in Pune. Halys has a very good record on hard courts and has won three Challenger and five ITF titles on the surface.
This will be his third main draw appearance in Los Cabos. He won the opening round matches on both the previous years but fell in the second round.

Berankis Can Be Dangerous on Hard Court
A quarterfinal appearance in Dubai has been the highlight of Ricardas Berankis’ season this year. The World No. 98 also featured in a Challenger final in Lille, but apart from those two accomplishments, he hasn’t seen much success this year.
Set to make his Los Cabos debut, the Lithuanian brigs a 7-8 season record into the tournament.
The 32-year-old has a 108-101 career record on hard courts and is 4-4 on the surface this season.
He has never won an ATP title but has two runner-up finishes, with both coming on hard courts. Berankis will be eager to put up a good display to stay in the top 100.
