Felix Auger-Aliassime v Borna Coric Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these two and both have won one apiece.
The first came at the 2019 Miami Masters where Auger-Aliassime registered a straight-set victory before Coric levelled things back in Rome that very season.

Overcoming a first set deficit, Auger-Aliassime registered a difficult third round win over Jannik Sinner to reach his second successive quarterfinal in Cincinnati.
The Canadian number one was on court for two hours and 28 minutes to carve out a 2-6, 7-6 (1), 6-1 win over Sinner. This followed a first round bye and a 6-3, 6-2 rout of Alex de Minaur in the second.
Auger-Aliassime, who had reached the quarterfinal at Montreal last week as well, was broken twice in the first set and fell 2-4 down in the second before mounting a strong comeback.
He broke back immediately in the seventh game before saving two match-points in the 12th to push the encounter in a tie-breaker. Once there, Auger-Aliassime put enough pressure on the sagging Sinner morale to clinch it with ease before breezing past the Italian in the final set.
Can he now make it to his first Masters semifinal of the season following three previous attempts?

Coric Continues Shocking Run
As if stunning Rafael Nadal in his previous match wasn’t enough, Coric found his best rhythm of the tournament yet to jog past Roberto Bautista-Agut in the third round.
Ranked 152nd in the world at the moment thanks to a string of poor seasons primarily because of fitness concerns, Coric won 6-2, 6-3 against Bautista-Agut. He needed just an hour and 22 minutes for this.
Coric served up 16 aces and saved all the five break-points he faced in the encounter while dishing out four breaks of serves. He raced off to a 4-0 lead in the first set, and broke Bautista-Agut early in the second set as well to go 3-1 up. Soon after that he completed the last rites with a second break of serve in the set.
It would be interesting to see how Coric goes up against Auger-Aliassime but his confidence – and his ranking – are sure showing an uptrend.
