Carlos Alcaraz v Frances Tiafoe Head to Head

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner found themselves in a clash of the titans in the quarterfinals – a match that ended at 2:50 am local time. The duo also set the record for the latest-ever US Open match.
Alcaraz prevailed 6-3, 6-7(7), 6-7(0), 7-5, 6-3, receiving astounding support from the crowd in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Following his heroics at the US Open, Alcaraz has moved up to 49-9 in 2022 – thus explaining why the punters are placing him as the heavy favourite. Before the Sinner match, Alcaraz fought Marin Cilic in another thrilling five-set affair in round four. Before that, he had a relatively comfortable journey with wins over Baez, Federico Coria, and Jenson Brooksby.
