Cameron Norrie v Taylor Fritz Head to Head
This is an interesting rivalry which has seen 10 meetings and if one includes a recent Davis Cup match-up, the scoreline is a rather close 5-5. In only four of those matches has there been a straight-set win for either, making it an even more intriguing match-up.

It has been a season that has gone Norrie’s way and that has included a semifinal appearance at a Grand Slam – his best major showing coming at Wimbledon.
And the manner in which he’s performed, Norrie might have been slightly disappointed with his fourth round exit at the US Open where he went down to Andrey Rublev in straight sets.
He followed that up with an appearance at the Davis Cup where he featured in all of Britain’s matches, winning just one and losing two of them. That sole victory came against Fritz, with the Brit overcoming a first set deficit to carve out a fighting 2-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5 win.

Fritz Hoping for Better Than Recent Showing
Since making it to the Wimbledon quarterfinal where Fritz all but sent Rafael Nadal on his way, the American hasn’t had the kind of results he would have liked.
Sure, there was a quarterfinal appearance at the Cincinnati Masters where he went down to Daniil Medvedev, but a second match exit at Washington and a third round defeat at the Montreal Masters hardly do justice to his talent.
The worst, however, came at the US Open where Fritz started out a 1/25 favourite to overcome Brandon Holt only to lose a four-setter after having won the opening set.
He also turned up for USA’s Davis Cup campaign last weekend, lost two of his three matches including one against Norrie. Can he turn things around here?
