Ons Jabeur v Ann Li Head to Head
This will be their first meeting on the WTA Tour.

Jabeur, the World No. 2
It has been a truly remarkable season for the 28-year-old Tunisian Ons Jabeur. She is the current world number two, arriving in Monastir with a tally of 44-14 and prize money of over $4.5 million.
She has two Grand Slam finals to her name – the Wimbledon and US Open – alongside trophies from Charleston, Madrid, Rome, and Berlin.
Amidst this, Jabeur has beaten a handful of big names like Caroline Garcia, Veronika Kudermetova, Elise Mertens, Belinda Bencic, Coco Gauff, Maria Sakkari, and Daria Kasatkina.
Having achieved what she set out for, Ons will now look to cap off a wonderful season by playing in front of her home crowd. Given her draw, she is already the favourite to go the distance in the Jasmin Open 2022.

Li, Low on Form
By contrast, Ann Li hasn’t had half the glittering season like her Tunisian counterpart.
Her record is at a meagre 11-14 and is ranked currently at the #62 spot. The 22-year-old last played in the Tallinn Open, where she fell to Kaia Kanepi in round two – after beating Claire Liu in the first round.
Li’s entire season has gone by in these early exits, barring two tournaments. The first one was the Melbourne Set 2, where she was a semifinalist, and the other was the Miami Open, where she made it as far as round three after beating Anett Kontaveit.
Compared to Jabeur, Ann has an inferior pedigree and experience. She will need a miracle to beat the top seed on her home turf.
Jabeur v Li Prediction and Tip
This match should end in a straight-set win for Jabeur – all things considered. Expect no surprises here.
Tip: Jabeur to win in straight sets: 2/7 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
