Sebastian Korda v Marcos Giron Head to Head
While these two have never faced off at the highest level, they did play each other in the Challengers in 2019 and 2020. Giron won on clay while Korda did the same in a hardcourt competition to make it 1-1.

Korda Hoping to Break Back into Top 30
After a solid showing in Gijon, Korda will hope he can carry his form into this tournament in Antwerp and aim to break back into the top 30 that he had earlier done.
The American shocked Roberto Bautista-Agut and overcame Jaume Munar and Andy Murray on his way to the final of the Gijon Open where he went down to Andrey Rublev.
Before that he had one ATP title under his belt and another final appearance – both of which had come in 2021. This year, other than that sparkle exhibited in Giron, Korda’s best performances were the three successive matches he won at Estoril and Washington.
Can he now put up another such exhibition to go deep in this competition?

Giron Also a Recent Finalist
While Giron hasn’t won a career ATP title yet, he was recently a finalist at the San Diego Open. That is his maiden – and only – finals appearance till date and it came about a month ago.
After getting a bye in the first round, Giron overcame James Duckworth and Dan Evans on his way to the title-decider where he was sent out by Brandon Nakashima.
Following that, Giron also took part in the Gijon Open where he overcame Albert Ramos-Vinolas in his opener but fell to Dominic Thiem in a three-set match.
Giron’s overall record indoors is a solid 54-38 as well and while this includes matches at all levels, it points to the experience he has had playing on this surface. As compared to that, Korda is only 37-19 indoors.
Korda v Giron Prediction and Tip
While Korda is a favourite here (9/20), we think Giron’s good prior experience on indoor hardcourt surfaces should make it easier for him and this could go on to become a hard-fought battle.
Tip: Three sets in the match: 6/4 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
